We truly enjoyed every moment of the stay, very nice experience. It had a great setting just off the mountain, earth-fountains, bonsai trees and very friendly and welcoming atmosphere and Sintra. Plus it was located very close to all castles in the area.

The collection of bonsai trees was amazing and fascinating. It was really interesting to see some that were very old. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us with transportation and recommending local restaurants. - the location of the hotel was perfect, just outside of the busy town, so it was quiet and peaceful. We could easily walk into town without being overwhelmed by the noise and crowds.
The apartments felt a bit damp and cold, as it is an old building. the heating units were a bit confusing to operate, and I couldn't figure out how to warm up the lower level.

Plus, the sound of water flowing added a touch of serenity. We appreciated the convenient bus stop in front of the hotel, making it easy to explore the city center. The breakfast spread was more than enough to start our day, with a variety of options to choose from. Although the coffee machine did not work, the staff was friendly and kind, always ready to assist us.
